Chicken consumers have new options at the foodservice level, with new offerings from Applebee’s and Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken.
Applebee’s has introduced three new chicken sandwiches, while Lee’s Famous has introduced its Buffalo Collection.
Applebee’s hand-breaded chicken sandwiches
Applebee’s, for a limited time, is offering three hand-breaded chicken sandwich options.
Among those are:
- The Bacon Ranch Crispy Chicken Sandwich, featuring a crispy, hand-breaded chicken breast, topped with two strips of Applewood-smoked bacon and a house-made ranch drizzle. It is served on a Brioche bun with pickles and lettuce.
- The Sweet & Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich, featuring crispy, hand-breaded chicken breast smothered in Sweet Asian Chile sauce, with Applebee’s signature coleslaw on a Brioche bun.
- The Bacon Cheddar Crispy Chicken Sandwich, featuring hand-breaded chicken breast topped with two slices of Cheddar cheese, two strips of Applewood-smoked bacon, house-made tangy bacon sauce, lettuce, tomato, and pickles on a Brioche bun.

Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken Buffalo Collection
Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken recently introduced a new menu that takes its famous favorites and sauced them up. The Buffalo Collection features the fiery Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Buffalo Mac and Cheese Bowl, and Buffalo Strips.
The new Buffalo Collection will be available at participating restaurants now through August 12, 2024.
The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich features a juicy, five-ounce chicken filet marinated in Lee's special blend of seasonings and hand-breaded. The crispy fried chicken filet is then dipped in Buffalo sauce and served on a soft brioche bun with crunchy pickles.
The Buffalo Mac and Cheese Bowl features hand-breaded premium chicken breast strips coated in buffalo sauce and generously piled atop creamy, macaroni and cheese.
Guests looking for Buffalo Strips are encouraged to ask for their Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken Strips buffalo style in any combo, individual meal or snack size.
