Mountaire Farms, the nation’s fourth-largest chicken company, recently announced that 32 students will each receive a $2,500 scholarship to help them pay for college.
Children and grandchildren of employees, growers and grain producers were eligible for the scholarship. Winners on Delmarva will be invited to Mountaire’s Faith and Family Night at the Delmarva Shorebirds on June 15th, where they will be recognized on-field before the game and enjoy dinner with Mountaire executives. In North Carolina, scholarship winners will be honored at Mountaire’s Faith and Family Night at the Fayetteville Woodpeckers game on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
