USPOULTRY offers new training course

The course covers safety precautions necessary for responding to highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) events.

USPOULTRY is pleased to announce a new training course titled, "The Safe Response to Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza." This course offers comprehensive educational instruction for industry workers, covering key topics such as understanding avian influenza, implementing safe response methods, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and employing effective depopulation, decontamination and disposal methods. It also emphasizes general safety precautions necessary for responding to highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) events.

Recognizing the dynamic nature of hazards and issues associated with HPAI, the course stresses the importance of vigilance and flexibility, along with a thorough understanding of applicable rules and regulations.
