Case Farms honored

The company has reached a significant safety milestone.

Case Farms has achieved one million man-hours without an OSHA recordable lost-time accident at its Morganton, NC, facility as of April 29.

“Achieving this benchmark reflects the dedication of our employees and supervisors,” said Derrick Caldwell, day shift safety supervisor. Tyler Foster, night shift supervisor, added, “Every member should take pride in this achievement. Safety is a priority, and this exemplifies our commitment.”

Case Farms processes 3.7 million birds weekly and employs 3,300 people, producing 1.1 billion pounds of poultry products annually. The company continues to enhance its worker safety program to maintain and improve its safety record.
