USPOULTRY hosting workshop

Event will focus on leadership strategies in poultry processing.

The poultry industry faces ongoing advancements and challenges, particularly in processing plants amidst increasing automation and evolving management techniques. To address these issues and boost efficiency, USPOULTRY is hosting the 2024 Poultry Processor Workshop on May 15-16 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown in Nashville, Tennessee.

Featuring esteemed speakers including USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service Undersecretary Dr. Jose Emilio Esteban, the workshop will also offer insights from industry leaders such as KFC on upcoming trends in animal welfare and Wayne-Sanderson Farms’ President and CEO Clint Rivers on leadership strategies.

The comprehensive agenda covers operational hurdles, including statistical process control, salmonella reduction, workforce engagement, plant safety, preventive maintenance programs and processing automation.
