USPOULTRY gives funds to Emmanuel University

The grant will help with student recruitment.

Emmanuel University in Franklin Springs, Ga., has been awarded a $4,484 student recruiting grant from the USPOULTRY Foundation. The grant will support a targeted marketing strategy focused on high school and home school students. This includes the production of three to five videos highlighting opportunities at the university, with an emphasis on poultry content, as well as updates to the university’s social media presence. Additionally, funds will be used for signage and promotional materials at recruiting events and local activities.

The USPOULTRY Foundation approved a total of $297,580 in student recruiting grants to 26 colleges and universities across the United States with poultry science departments or industry-related degree programs. These grants aim to attract students to poultry programs and are funded by contributions from companies, individuals and families, as well as proceeds from the International Poultry Expo, part of the International Production & Processing Expo.
