Fortifi Food Processing Solutions (Fortifi) is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Gibson as general counsel, chief compliance officer, and environmental health and safety (EHS) lead. Fortifi offers a comprehensive platform of leading global brands and products in food processing equipment and automation solutions.
Reporting directly to Massimo Bizzi, CEO of Fortifi, Gibson will oversee all legal, environmental affairs, compliance and safety aspects at Fortifi. His responsibilities include global transactions, corporate governance and leadership of the legal team across Fortifi’s 34 sites in 18 countries worldwide. Based at Fortifi's global headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas, Gibson brings invaluable international experience to the team.

Gibson previously served as vice president, secretary, and general counsel of Koch Engineered Solutions for over 13 years. During his tenure, he managed a team of over 100 employees, overseeing all legal support, international commercial compliance and EHS functions for the multi-billion dollar international manufacturing and services company.

Gibson holds a law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston and an MBA from Texas A&M University.
