Topic will range from pet food sustainability to global market insights.

The upcoming International Rendering Symposium, part of the 2024 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta, will delve into the crucial, yet often overlooked, role of the rendering industry in animal agriculture’s sustainability. Hosted by NARA and USPOULTRY, the symposium will run from Feb. 1-2, covering diverse topics ranging from pet food sustainability to global market insights.

The symposium, priced at $250 for registration, will feature four key sections addressing various facets of rendering's impact on the industry. Day one will focus on poultry and pet food sustainability, while discussions on low carbon intense ingredients and networking opportunities will follow. Day two will delve into aquaculture and global market insights, offering panel discussions for each section.

IPPE, scheduled for Jan. 30--Feb. 1, is a collaborative effort showcasing the complete protein production and processing chain. For more information and registration, visit ippexpo.org.
