Julia Lagerqvist, chief financial officer (CFO) of Scandi Standard, is resigning from her position.

According to an announcement from the company, Lagerqvist resigned “to pursue an opportunity outside of the group.”

Lagerqvist held the company’s CFO position since May 2019. Prior to that, she was CFO of Scandi Standard’s operations in Sweden, a job she held for about a year. Before joining the staff at Scandi Standard, she worked for Procter & Gamble, Barilla and SverigesEnergi.

Lagerquvist, according to the company, gave a six-month notice, allowing Scandi Standard time to find a successor.

“I would like to thank Julia for her term with Scandi Standard and in particular for her important contribution to take us safely through the challenging period of inflation during the past years. I am grateful for her dedication to secure an orderly transition and wish her all the best in her new endeavors,” said Scandi Standard CEO Jonas Tunestål.

Scandi Standard, according to the WATTPoultry International Top Companies survey, is the 15th largest poultry company in Europe, having slaughtered 177.5 million broilers during the past year. It is also involved in the egg industry, with a flock of 1 million laying hens. The company has operations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Ireland.
