Tyson Foods and Cobb-Vantress have donated $150,000 to John Brown University (JBU) to contribute towards the construction of the Bill George Arena in Arkansas.

The arena will replace the university's current 50-year-old structure. It will have a 2,400-seat capacity and serve as both an athletics facility and a community gathering space. "Our university is deeply grateful for this gift," said Dr. Charles Pollard, JBU president. "We are fortunate to live in an area in which local businesses invest in the education of young people."

The arena has already hosted volleyball and basketball games, as well as a sold-out concert.
