DuPont makes large investments in Asia

Company expands seed facilities to boost revenues

According to reports, DuPont plans a substantial expansion to its corn seed plant in Thailand. The two-year plan involves an investment of $15 to $20 million as part of DuPont’s goal of a 15% increase in revenue in ASEAN.

As part of its plan, DuPont will also expand seed capacity in the Philippines next year. The company has already spent $11 million in improvements to its Malang, Indonesia, facility.
