Canada’s Sofina Foods is recalling pizza-flavored chicken nuggets over concerns that the products could contain extraneous materials, specifically, pieces of plastic.
The affected products come in 1.3 kg packaging, have a best before date of July 2025, and include the UPC code 0 6. The 0249 00973 8.
According to a notice from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), the chicken nuggets were distributed nationwide at the retail level.
CFIA urges the public not to use, sell, serve or distribute the recalled products.
