Premier Nutrition announces new manager

Premier Nutrition announces Ralph Bishop as poultry team leader.

Premier Nutrition has appointed Ralph Bishop as Poultry Nutrition & Innovation Manager to lead its poultry team, with a focus on guiding customers to meet their sustainability targets.

With a strong personal interest in carbon footprint analysis, together with his nutrition bias in all areas of poultry, Ralph has already been instrumental in reducing reliance on soya whilst achieving a range of flock welfare benefits on a number of customer farms.

Ralph’s team comprises Eloise Lawlor, an excellent commercial poultry nutritionist who will drive a spotlight on global research to ensure all broiler, layer, turkey and game customers are able to practically apply advances in nutrition on their units.

In addition, Alex Kemp as commercial nutritionist, will be focused on account management, audit support and quality control initiatives with Vicki Lambe supporting the poultry species team as its dedicated customer services co-ordinator, enhancing the end-to-end customer experience.

Announcing this newly invigorated team, Alan Johnston, Premier Nutrition’s head of Commercial–Farm Animal, said:  “We have ambitious plans to develop and innovate across all of our species teams and I am delighted that we have established this strong and inspired poultry team to support our customers’ ever-changing business needs. We will soon be announcing the addition of a new commercial nutritionist, further enabling our commitment to industry-leading nutritional expertise, supported by our state-of-the-art production facilities.
