Opportunities in the Chinese poultry and egg industry, sustainable development in the Asian poultry sector and avian influenza (AI) prevention and control strategies will all come under the spotlight at the International Poultry Forum 2025 on March 11th this year. The forum is taking place for the first time in Bangkok and collocated with trade show VIIV Asia.
With a strong line-up of speakers, including Justin Sherrard, animal protein company advisor; Yang Ning, Chair Professor with the China Agricultural University and Immediate Past President of the World Poultry Science Association (WPSA); and Gordon Butland, Director of G&S Consulting, the event will offer an overview of global and regional poultry industry development, technology innovations and their application in Asia and China in particular, consumption patterns in China, and in Asia more broadly, AI outbreaks and their prevention, and trade opportunities.

Co-organized by Poultry International China, Lyja Media and WATT Global Media, in a strategic partnership with VIV Asia and supported by the WPSA, the event day-long event will offer particular insight into China and Asia, with the later now accounting for 41% of the global poultry market.
The organizers note that the event will offer a platform for industry exchange, helping to promote not only its regional development but also its sustainability.
