DSM offers VevoVitall, a zootechnical feed additive that reduces the pH of urine in piglets and fattening pigs. According to DSM, the inclusion of 1% VevoVitall in the pigs' diet leads to an average 16% reduction in ammonia emissions. Combining the product with other measures can reduce ammonia emissions up to 42%, according to the company.
