Chicken marketers upbeat on prospects for supply cuts

Looking past high corn prices and current lack of profits, participants at the Chicken Marketing Seminar were upbeat on prospects for supply cuts and improved demand, said Kevin Phillips of Case Farms and Bill Roenigk of the National Chicken Council.

  • Great interview - really like hearing from the retail side. Nice to also hear there is optimism at the meeting and that the industry is cutting production.
