Chicken and Blue Jays: Sofina Foods partners with MLB team

Janes chicken will be available at concession stands throughout the Rogers Centre during Toronto Blue Jays games.

Sofina Foods and the Toronto Blue Jays have entered a partnership in which Sofina’s Janes brand chicken will be sold at concession stands at all Blue Jays home games from now through the 2026 season.

Under a new multi-year agreement, Janes chicken tenders will be available throughout Rogers Centre, where the major league baseball team plays its home games. As part of the partnership, Janes will receive prominent brand visibility throughout the ballpark and will provide fans with giveaways during the season.

The partnership will also come to life through retail activation and co-branded packaging.

“An afternoon at the ballpark is a memorable experience for people of all ages, where friends, family and fans feel a sense of camaraderie, united by their love of the game and their favorite team,” said Sofina Foods Chief Commercial Officer Paul Robertson. “Janes has been a part of creating special memories at the dinner table for over 50 years and we are thrilled to be part of the team that creates unforgettable memories cheering on Canada’s beloved Blue Jays.”

As of April 24, the Blue Jays have a 13-11 record.
